HydraMind Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

HydraMind ("the app") is a hydration-tracking app operated by Packplug Inc. ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

Data we collect

Account data. Your email address and a password, used solely to create and secure your account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are never visible to us.

Hydration and profile data. Drink entries (amount, drink type, time, optional note), and the profile details you choose to provide — name, gender, age, weight, activity level, waking hours — used to calculate your daily hydration goal. This data syncs to our servers (Supabase) so your history follows your account across devices.

Approximate location (optional). With your permission, the app reads your device's coarse location to fetch the local temperature, which can raise your daily goal on hot days. Location is used for the weather lookup only and is not stored on our servers.

Subscription status. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details. Our subscription partner (RevenueCat) tells us whether your subscription is active so the app can unlock.

Coaching tips. To generate a personalized tip, the app sends aggregate hydration numbers (today's total, goal, streak, a seven-day summary, and the outside temperature) to our server, which queries Google's Gemini API. No name, email, or identifier is included in that request.

What we do not do

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all synced data at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app — deletion is immediate and irreversible. You can also contact us at hello@packplug.ca. Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). Server-side data is stored with row-level security so each account can only ever read its own records.

Children

HydraMind is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change, and note the date at the top.
